Flying Leap Rye

This flavorful rye whiskey is a single-barrel release distilled from a soured mash of German rye, lightly roasted, two-row malted Spring barley and American-grown malted wheat. The whiskey is double oaked, having been first aged for 34 months in charred American oak casks, then finished for an additional year in Port wine casks. It is richly flavored and very unique in its finish, with notes of vanilla, roasted caramel and sweet, dried fruits. It is ideal for sipping neat, and is an equally wonderful spirit for an Old Fashioned or Classic Manhattan.
